BRONTË APPLEBY

Creative Associate

Brontë Appleby (she/her) is an actor, writer and producer. She trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts from 2017-2018.

Bronte has worked as a writer, producer and actor with a number of established theatre companies and arts organizations in the UK and Internationally. These include Contact Theatre, Sick! Festival, Boundless Theatre, BBC, VAULT Festival and Aua Wierleben Theatre Festival along with producing and programming for Lowhurst Productions and Liberty Rep.

Her debut full-length play "Have A Break, Have A KitKat” was developed on the Pen Pals scheme with theatre company, Box of Tricks and has received funding from Arts Council England for a research and development period.

Aside from working as a freelance facilitator, she also tutors a handful of young people in the region in English and Drama preparing them for everything from SATS to A-Levels! She has been doing this for over six years and enjoys it immensely.

​After producing “We Won’t Fall” for Switch_MCR in 2020, Brontë debuted 'Have a Break, Have a KitKat' for a full-length run at 53two in 2023.
